Tim and Robin are immersed in the local community and help on many levels. Aside from employing many locals, they built the bus stop and have a hand in upgrades and repairs around town. During our visit futbol was in full swing and their involvement runs deep. The game we attended, against a local rival, Tim played, Robin prepared food (the host team’s responsibility) and their pickup, about the only car in town, provided transportation as a couple of dozen of us piled on. During the match the referees were harassed so much that they quit before the game was finished which caused a near riot. They take their futbol seriously down here.

We returned again for a short stay before returning to Seattle. Courtney loved the place so much she returned to volunteer for a month while i was away.
