who are we?
Hannah
I’ve been wanting to cruise with my family since I crossed the Atlantic on my aunt Evi’s boat in 2005. This dream has been a long time in the making! I am currently addicted to pickleball. I’m a teacher (Spanish & Rock Climbing). I love adventuring in nature. I’m excited about the absence of routine.
Tomu
Tomu is 9 years old. He is a voracious reader. He loves to play any kind of board games. His current favorite is Pokemon. He also loves soccer and climbing trees. He hates getting his photo taken. He is excited about seeing all kinds of new animals on our trip and learning new languages.
Luz
Luz is 5 years old. She loves everyone, including you! Luz is a big hiker, a big biker and a big climber girl. She loves riding bikes. She will miss climbing her favorite willow tree in front of our house. She loves to play backgammon and mushroom tag. Touching jellyfish is her hobby. She is looking forward to seeing an octopus.
Jade
Jade is 7 years old. Jade makes friends easily. She’s wild and fierce. She loves Harry Potter, The Golden Compass, The Hunger Games, Divergent, Dragon Watch, Eragon, Wings of Fire, and The Hobbit. Jade loves to cook, sew, cross country ski, and climb trees and rocks (and cars). She’s an artist. She is looking forward to learning new languages and seeing octopi, jellyfish, whales, dolphins, seahorses, koalas, kangaroos, zebras and giraffes.
Riki
Dubs up! Riki has been pining away for the life at sea since 2015 when we last lived aboard on his boat Guava Jelly. Riki’s superpowers are finding things, fixing things, and caring for others. He is looking forward to not driving a car.
