Our buddy and climbing partner Mo came to visit us for 12 days. It was Mo’s first time snorkeling, and they loved it. Good thing they are a good swimmer, as the first snorkel featured lots of current and waves. We did lots of snorkeling. Our first day sailing Mo was terrified the whole time. It was pretty rough conditions: 2 to 3 meter seas and 25-30 knots of wind. In the midst of this, Riki caught a yellow fin tuna! First in two years.

Mo asked me if the boat could tip over, and if I was scared, and if this was normal. I said no, no, and a little rougher than normal. Luckily each day we sailed the weather was progressively nicer. 🙂  As with all guests, Mo had plenty of Wade duty. Good thing they love their blonde baby, so they were fine with it. They invented some new games with Tomu and were very creative in keeping him entertained. We felt so lucky that Mo came to Fiji to hang with us. I’ll let the photos tell the story of our time together.

They are grossed out by holding the sea cucumber.

Mo & Wade having daily dinghy time.

We traveled with Bella & David on S/V Admetus, a sweet Austrian couple. We had many shared dinners, laughs and games, and a fun day at the beach with them. They also babysat for us happily. 🙂

Super cute baby turtles in Makogai.

Beach time! Mo and Riki, Bella & David harvested coconuts, trying to find all 6 phases of coconuts: water, slimy, hard meat, foamy, sprouting (palm heart) and I forget the other one.

En route to Savu Savu, Wade found a new favorite spot to be while under sail.

Pool time!
