T minus 7 weeks

We have tickets to fly to New Zealand on September 25th. Between now and then we have a long list of things to do. Riki is working hard to finish installing a second bathroom in the basement, to replace part of the ceiling in the kitchen, and, and, and other house projects. I have to follow up on the documentation for the boat, buy a bunch of things, organize an on-call doctor, look for catastrophic health insurance, do some homeschooling research, set up a mail service…

and then we need to pack up our house, and decide what things make the cut for our 10 checked bags. oh, and we currently have Covid.

Meanwhile we are enjoying our last summer in the Pacific Northwest with friends and family.
